Meet (Caileigh Fagan) a student at Lewisville Middle School. Below is Caileigh’s message
Two years ago, when I saw a homeless man in downtown Moncton, I decided I wanted to help him. I challenged my classmates at Lewisville Middle School to create 16 comfort care kits filled with toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and other products to help those in need feel comfortable despite their current living situation. My challenge was met, and the result surpassed any of my expectations. Due to generous donations by local compagnies like yourselves and various monitory donations from the community, the students of Lewisville Middle School were able to create 77 comfort care kits and raise $650 which was donated to Reconnect Moncton, Ray of Hope Soup Kitchen and Harvest House Moncton. Last year due the COVID-19 shutdown, I did an online campaign in which I was able to raise $1 900 in which $1000 was donated to Re-Connect Moncton and $900 was donated to the Ray of Hope So ....
