The Fenton Township Board of Trustees approved a list of potential Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects to be submitted to Genesee County.
 Over Zoom on Monday, Dec. 14, Thomas Broecker, operations manager and deputy clerk, said the township is expected to receive approximately $117,573 in CDBG funds for 2022-2024. The township will submit seven pre-applications to Genesee County for review, and the county will determine which projects are eligible. The township will then choose which projects they will submit for a final application.
 One proposed project was doing sewer improvements at pump station #26 at Petts Road. The estimated cost is $90,000. Another project is installing a wireless monitoring system at pump station #23, at Firestone Drive, and #27, which is at Pomona Court. These would cost approximately $5,000 each. ....
