MercyOne's first clinic in Minnesota opens in Albert Lea

And now, Albert Lea is home to the first MercyOne clinic in the state of Minnesota.
The Albert Lea family medicine and specialty care clinic. The new MercyOne clinic location is owned by ALHC and leased to MercyOne to provide patient care including a primary care clinic, visiting specialists, lab, and radiology.
We built something here that could act as a guideline for other communities that are going to be facing the same type of situation that affected Albert Lea, said Brad Arends, President, Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday and is located at the Northbridge Mall. ....

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – The new MercyOne clinic in Albert Lea will open for patients on July 26.
“Albert Lea Family Medicine & Specialty Care has been just short of three years in the making,” says Rod Schlader, president of MercyOne’s North Iowa region. “We are proud to welcome the community to our open house so they can see the result of our partnership with the Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition and start providing care to the Albert Lea community.” ....

Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition Announces Groundbreaking At New Clinic

The Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition is celebrating the success of the grass-roots movement to take control of local healthcare options by announcing a groundbreaking celebration for the new MercyOne Clinic on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 10:30 am. Everyone is invited to take part in this historic event.
The groundbreaking will take place at 2440 Bridge Avenue, Albert Lea, MN. The location is the former Herberger’s location in the Northbridge Mall and where MercyOne will open their doors upon completion and receive new patients.
