Murkomen Barred from Seeing Sonko Senator Kipchumba Murkomen with Former Nairobi Governor Twitter UPDATE, Thursday 4, February 2021: Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen together with journalist were barred from getting into the Court premises where Sonko s hearing was taking place. The embattled former Governor was today taken to Kahawa Law Courts for his hearing under very tight security. Sonko was escorted by a caravan of vehicles and heavily armed anti-terror police officers. After the vehicle carrying Sonko entered the Court s gate, the rest of the people were blocked at the road diversion into the court from access.
