High Schools: D-III track championship delayed by weather with just 2 events left Kearsarge s Berhan Kidane competes at the 2021 Division III boys track & field championships on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Gilford High School. Kearsarge trailed Newport by four points when the meet was suspended after 16 of 18 events due to thunderstorms. The final two events, triple jump and high jump, will be completed on Saturday. Kidane is one of three competitors left in the high jump and is also still competing in the triple jump, as is Newport’s Marius Edwards. Kidane did finish third in the long jump. SINGAPORE - “Popiah King” Sam Goi has successfully prevailed in a boardoom tussle, retaining his chairmanship of Hanwell Holdings while ousting rival directors Coco Tang Cheuk Chee and Eugene Yeo See Liang from the board. At an annual general meeting on Thursday (April 29), shareholder support for Mr Goi was obvious, with 94.67 per cent voting in favour of his remaining as non-executive chairman. In contrast, 55.34 per cent voted against the re-election of Ms Coco Tang as a director. Similarly, the resolution to re-elect Mr Eugene Yeo See Liang - an ally of Ms Tang - was not carried, with 55.30 per cent voting against him. ....
