However, a toxicology report discovered Ethyl Ether and Heptane chemicals, the sheriff’s office said. During the investigation, detectives found notes in Melissa’s address book and a phone number for someone named “Michael.” The man was later identified as Dean, who said he met Melissa through a night talk line and used the name “Mike.” Dean was interviewed three times in 1993 and said he dated Melissa twice in March 1993. Detectives confirmed Dean was living on Madison Street in Everett at the time of the murder. His home was about 3.6 miles from where Melissa’s body was found. ....
PLANNING officials will decide whether to grant permission for developers to build a three-storey block of student accommodation in Bournemouth. New Milton Property Limited are seeking permission from BCP Council to build a three-storey block in Wimborne Road. The site, 381-383 Wimborne Road, is currently used as a car park and the application proposes removing the current 11 spaces for the building. Thirteen cycle spaces will be created if the application is approved. The development would have 13 student rooms, comprised of seven one-bedroom flats and six two-bedroom flats. A design and access statement said: “The accommodation block will be accessed via an existing pedestrian walkway which runs along the south of 379 Wimborne Road. ....

At Thursday s meeting, Councillor Alan Dean said there had been a lack of full disclosure, that information provided on the investment was only about the design of the proposed building, the building contractor and financial matters. Cllr Geoffrey Sell said he had searched for the company online, saw the company was involved in the defence industry, and had raised ethical issues. Responding, Cllr Neil Reeve disputed the claim that members had been unaware of the nature of the company. ....

Uttlesford district councillors on Thursday (February 25) expressed frustration at press coverage and social media comments over a deal with Moog, who will become the tenants. It has been claimed the company has links to the arms trade. Oxfam has expressed concern, speakers addressed Tuesday s meeting, and a public petition on the council s website now has 348 signatures. Moog Inc is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components and systems. Moog systems control military and commercial aircraft, satellites, and space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, automated industrial machinery, and marine and medical equipment. ....
