ExxonMobil and Ministry of Energy Sign Nam Phong Gas Field Concession Extension published : 10 Mar 2021 at 13:59 ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc (EMEPKI) and the Thai Ministry of Energy have signed an agreement to extend the production period of the EMEPKI’s gas field onshore blocks in Nam Phong district, Khon Kaen province for an additional 10 years, from 2021-2031. The produced natural gas is to distribute to the PTT Public Company Limited for delivery to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand in homes and businesses in the Northeastern region of Thailand.
