Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev strolls into the “Military Trophies Park” on April 12
A so-called “Military Trophies Park” inaugurated in Baku on Monday by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attests to Azerbaijan’s ongoing “genocidal policy and state supported Armenophobia,” Armenia’s Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan said in a statement.
In images and video released by the Azerbaijani media, Aliyev is seen reveling in the “park,” where military equipment ceased from Armenian forces are displayed, with mannequins posed as members of Armenian military forces are seen in denigrating and degrading poses.

Armenia s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on opening of the “park” in Baku dedicated to Artsakh war. It is noted that on April 12, with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan a “park” dedicated to Artsakh war was opened in Baku, where along with the Armenian military equipment the mannequins of the servicemen of the Armenian armed forces, personal belongings of the soldiers of Armenia and Artsakh and the helmets of killed Armenian servicemen were displayed. The opening ceremony of the “park” and the remarks of the President of Azerbaijan demonstrate that the above-mentioned action is aimed at publicly degrading the memory of the victims of the war, missing persons and prisoners of war, violating the rights and dignity of their families, the statement said.
