Hisar: The Haryanvi diaspora from different corners of the world has come forward to extend help amid the surge in Covid cases in the region. They have started sending the requisite medical stuff to Delhi and other states. They pooled in resources and arranged oxygen concentrators for the counties which have been running flights to India. These members of the Global Haryana Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) are connected through WhatsApp group ‘Global Haryana. San Francisco, CA – 26th February, 2021 – The popular game-based learning program SplashLearn, announced the 7th edition of its massively popular SpringBoard Math Challenge today. The math competition is a calendar marked event and is highly anticipated by teachers across the US and Canada. SpringBoard Math Challenge 2021, open to all classes from grade 1 to grade 5, will run from March 1 – May 9, 2021.

SplashLearn raises $18 million for its game-based edtech platform
SplashLearn, a 10-year-old U.S.-headquartered edtech startup that teaches children through a game-based curriculum, has raised $18 million in a new financing round as it looks to expand to more markets.
San Francisco-based Owl Ventures led the Series C funding round in SplashLearn, and Accel, which had earlier invested $7 million in the startup’s Series B, also participated in the new round.
In an interview with TechCrunch, SplashLearn co-founder and chief executive Arpit Jain said one of the biggest hurdles the education system faces today is that kids do not wish to learn, so you have to broach the subject in a way they find engaging. ....

The company has its presence across 150 countries, with the US being its largest revenue contributor
US-headquartered edtech startup SplashLearn has raised $18 Mn in a Series C funding round led by San Francisco-based venture capital firm Owl Ventures, with participation from Accel Partners. The company plans to use this funding to scale its new personalised tutoring product to sign up more parents and get more teachers involved.
