Castle Harbour, Portumna in Galway won the top spot.
They described it as a “magnificent location” on the shores of Lough Derg on the River Shannon – which was “full of grassy areas, picnic benches and beautiful gardens”
The other counties with spots in the top eight were Wicklow, Roscommon, Louth, Dublin, Cork, Donegal and Kerry.
