VAN WERT COUNTY – The worst snowstorm in years set a Feb. 15 record
by dumping eight to 11 inches of snow across the region on Monday night
into Tuesday morning.
According to EMA Director Rick McCoy, areas
of Van Wert County received between 10 and 11 inches, similar to
surrounding communities.
True to the
National Weather Service forecast, one to two inches of snow passed over
the area on Sunday night. Light snow then fell most of the day on ....

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) -
Mostly cloudy skies with the chance for additional freezing rain, wintry mix and light snow tonight through Thursday morning. This is mainly from a Childress to Altus to Chickasha line and southward across Texoma. Overnight lows will fall into the low 20s with feels-like temperatures ranging from 8-12 degrees.
Any ongoing freezing rain or wintry mix will come to an end late tomorrow morning across our area and even a few peaks of sunshine is possible during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to climb into the low 30s, however if we stay cloudier than expected highs won’t make it out of the 20s. ....

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester came close this morning to tying the record for the coldest low temperature on February 7th.
The unofficial low temperature reported by the National Weather Service at the Rochester Airport was 20 below zero between 6 and 7 AM. The current record for the date is -21, which was set in 1972. The wind chill readings early this morning were a little over 40-degrees below zero in the Rochester area. It was the coldest it has been in Rochester since February 14 of last year when the mercury bottomed out at a record low -24-degrees. ....

Dangerously Cold Wind Chills in Rochester Area into Sunday
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The southern two-thirds of Minnesota is now under a wind chill advisory.
The National Weather Service posted the advisory for the Rochester area at midnight and it will remain in effect until noon on Sunday. Forecasters are predicting wind chill readings around 20-below zero this afternoon and then in the -25 to -35 range tonight and into Sunday morning.
The actual temperature overnight is predicted to drop to -20, which will be the coldest it has been in the Rochester area since Valentine s Day last year when the morning low hit 24-below zero. The unofficial morning low in Rochester today was -5. ....
