Four months after the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) busted a series of baby-harvesting and child-trafficking syndicates in Accra, more people have stepped forward with horrifying tales of missing babies.
At least six more persons have reported of their missing babies at various health centres in Accra, some accusing the man allegedly at the centre of the baby stealing syndicate, Dr Hope Mensah Quarshie, of being a culprit.
They are Jerry Nii Ansah, Richard Kofi Jordan and four other persons whose names are being withheld for security reasons.

St. Theresa's Hospital nurses cry out: We are being treated like slaves -want management reshuffled


 
NURSES and staff of St. Theresa’s Hospital at Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region have petitioned the Chairperson of the Catholic Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), a body in charge of management of Catholic hospitals, to cause immediate reshuffling of management of the hospital.
Their reasons are premised on what they have described as ‘harassment’ that they are being subjected to.
In a petition titled – ‘Calling for Immediate Reshuffling of Management of St. Theresa Hospital’, the signatories to the petition said ‘no one is required to tolerate harassment in the work place and if it happens, a complaint letter sent to a higher authority will be in order. ....
