Former Port Adelaide midfielder Kane Cornes has proposed a hypothetical trade between the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn for their two highly-rated top draftees.
The speculative deal would see 2020 no.1 pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan move across to the Hawks and 2020 no.6 pick Denver Grainger-Barras join the Bulldogs.
Grainger-Barras impressed on debut for the Hawks on the weekend, while Ugle-Hagan has been stuck in the VFL for the Dogs.
With the Bulldogs needing key position defenders and having sufficient depth up the other end, Cornes posed the question – which club says no?
