BELLEVILLE A woman claims a substance on the floor of Sam s East in O Fallon caused her fall and suffer injuries.
Karen Miller filed a complaint Feb. 5 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Sam s East Inc., and David Heaton, alleging negligence. 
Heaton is the owner/operator of Sam s East, the suit states. 
Miller claims in her suit that she was at Sam s East on West Highway 50 in O Fallon on Aug. 8, 2020, when she slipped on a foreign substance that accumulated on the floor. As a result, Miller claims she suffered severe injuries including to her back, soft tissues, shoulder, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves.   ....
