The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued an Initial Flood Watch for South-East Queensland as the state braces for a significant rainfall event that is likely to bring intense falls and wild surf over the weekend.
It comes just one week after southern Queenslanders sweltered through a stifling heatwave that saw record-breaking temperatures in the Warrego, Maranoa and Darling Downs regions.Loading ....
