Post-COVID-19 Complications: Gossaigaon BPF MLA Majendra Narzary Passes Away

GUWAHATI: Senior Bodoland People s Front (BPF) MLA of Gossaigaon constituency, Majendra Narzary passed away due to post-COVID-19 complications at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on May 26.
Narzary who was on ventilation at the GMCH, breathed his last at 5:50 AM. The Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) leader was 68 and is survived by his wife and four children.
Notably, at his death, Assam Chief Minister and State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta were present at the GMCH along with BPF leader Durga Das Boro. Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi condoled the untimely demise of Gossaigaon MLA Majendra Narzary.
In a statement here today, Prof. Mukhi said, It is really unfortunate to have lost a public representative like Majendra Narzary who has still got so much to offer to the people and the state . The death of a hard working, committed, dedicated MLA like him is a great loss to the society. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereav ....

Guwahati: Majendra Narzary, Gossaigaon s MLA passed away on Wednesday morning. He was suffering from COVID.
He was undergoing treatment at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. The 68-years-old MLA was on ventilator. Narzary tested negative for Covid-19 a few days back but continued to be on ventilator. He had co-morbidities like diabetes and hypertension and reportedly suffered a brain stroke on Wednesday morning. He passed away at 5.50 AM this morning. ....
