ISLAMABAD: An all-round performance from 19-year-old Fatima Sana helped Pakistan national women’s team record their second consecutive win as they defeated the hosts by 22 runs (DLS method) in the fifth and final One-day International at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in St John’s, Antigua on Sunday. With the West Indies Women winning the first three matches, the Stafanie Taylor-led side won the series 3-2. Chasing 194 for win, West Indies were bowled out for 171 on the last ball of the match. Fatima, right-arm fast bowler, took five for 39 in seven overs which earned her second consecutive player of the match award. Fatima Sana’s magnificent all-round display powered Pakistan Women to clinch the final ODI against West Indies Women, with a 22-run victory by the DLS method, narrowing their loss 3-2.
The fast bowler, 19, helped Pakistan hit a decent target with her unbeaten 19-ball 28 runs while their innings were shortened due to the rain.
This was followed by her maiden five-wicket haul in the ODIs.
After the rain shortened the game to 34 overs each side, Pakistan increase their scoring rate by adding 108 after the rain break in the 19th over. Omaima Sohail scored 34 off 37, Kainat Imtiaz 21 off 28 and Ayesha Naseem hit 16 off 14. Sana then came in with her unbeaten 28. ....

St John s [Antigua], July 5 (ANI): Skipper Stafanie Taylor picked four wickets before hitting 43 runs as West Indies women defeated Pakistan by six wickets in the third and final T20I on Sunday.
With this victory, West Indies completed a 3-0 series win over Pakistan at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
West Indies bundled Pakistan out for 102 inside 20 overs then chased out the total with five balls to spare to clean sweep the series.
Chasing 103, West Indies got off to a bad start as they lost the opener, Hayley Matthews, in the second over thanks to Diana Baig s athleticism and excellent bowling. ....
