Kelana Jaya LRT line returns to normal operation (Updated) 28 May 2021 / 19:03 H. - Bernama KUALA LUMPUR: The Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) service, which was affected by a train collision incident last Monday, has returned to its normal operation at 3.45pm today. Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said repair and clean-up works at the affected track have concluded. This includes the installation of the 28-metre long linear heat detection cable, a critical element in train operation, which was completed at 2pm. “As all the works requested by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) have been fulfilled, APAD director-general has issued an approval letter for the service to resume operation. ....

KUALA LUMPUR: Two Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains involved in a collision on Monday have successfully been removed from the crash site this morning, three days earlier than scheduled, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pix). Wee, in a posting on his Facebook account, said the process of removing the two trains managed to be completed earlier after the staff worked on three shifts non-stop. “(Train) TR40 has safely reached Subang depot at 3.45 am while TR81 has arrived at Gombak tail track at 4.51 am. Prasarana will focus on track repair work from Kg Baru station to KLCC station. ....
