It was mid-April, and having been away from her family for several weeks, O Brien was thinking of her 19-month-old granddaughter Maggie, who lives close by in Taunton. O Brien, a physical therapy assistant, saw a crescent moon next to the sun, and realized how rarely you can see the moon during the day.
