In a 4-1 vote Wednesday, with board member Jane Nevinsmith dissenting, the new vaccine policy states that “the public shall not be denied access to town buildings, facilities, property, or events based upon vaccine status unless otherwise required by law.” ....
FULTON - The Callaway County EMS is offering free emergency alert stickers to the community in an effort to help identify residents who may have difficulty responding during emergency situations. The free stickers were made for individuals with loved ones with autism, dementia, hearing loss and other special needs. Amy Parsons is a Fulton resident who believes the program should be implemented in every county possible. âI think it should go nationwide, I think there s a need for it all over,â she said. âEvery child and every person who has a difficulty or special needs needs to be recognized when there s an emergency.â ....

Despite an appeal from board member Jane Nevinsmith to assume the leadership position, the board voted 4-1, with Nevinsmith casting the dissenting vote, to keep Fill as chairman, following a nomination by Joyce Chunglo, the board’s longest-serving member. “He just got his feet wet and I think one more year, and then I would like to offer it to Jane for next year,” Chunglo said. ....
