The survey said the traders want the Delhi government to allow the opening of markets and factories with strict conditions . The Delhi government s current lockdown is scheduled to continue till May 31. As on May 26, there are over 19,148 active cases in Delhi, and the positivity rate has dipped below two per cent.

JL Kapoor Memorial Trust Ensures a Helping Hand to 23500 Residents of Transit Camp, Anand Parbat Delhi

To ensure fewer people should sleep hungry in the ongoing pandemic, the trust has started the distribution of Seva Kits that includes dry ration, juices, snacks, etc. to the other residents of the transit camp. The Seva Kit has been designed to cater to the dry ration needs of a family of four. Every Seva Kits is a dry-ration kit consisting of wheat flour, rice, pulses, sugar, salt, cooking oil, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder.
During last year as its endeavor towards helping the society, JL Kapoor Memorial Trust distributed 1500+ Seva Kits (Dry Ration Kits ) helping over 6000+ beneficiaries across Delhi, Maharashtra & Haryana. The trust also came forward to assist our front liners i.e. Police Personals by distributing Masks & Sanitizers across Delhi & Haryana. ....

The public, pummelled by the pandemic and consequent socio-economic despair, is being forced to pick from three versions about the Covid-19 vaccination drive. One from the central government with tall claims and heap of statistics, second from the chief ministers firing loud SOS signals of shortages and the third on the CoWin app the gateway, which is failing to provide the vaccine.
The assessment by experts from the experience of over 100 days of vaccination is that India is in for a long haul. In case the pace of vaccination against coronavirus doesn’t shoot up drastically and more vaccine candidates are not included, India could take another 3.5 years at the “current rate of lethargy” to inoculate 70 per cent of its entire population, a threshold required to achieve herd immunity. ....
