In Heavily Locked Down San Francisco, 360% More People Died from Overdoses Than COVID-19
Published: December 21, 2020
San Francisco, CA
Stay home, save lives. This is the mantra many Californians have repeated and lived by for the last 10 months as their governor instituted some of the most draconian measures in the country. Watching their economy turn to shambles as thousands of businesses close their doors forever is making some folks grow weary of the COVID-19 lockdowns, and rightfully so.
Earlier this month, the city of San Francisco issued an order shutting down outside play for kids at playgrounds. Seriously. Even dating is banned unless it’s done masked, outside, and kiss free. ....

Congressman Introduces Bill to End Civil Asset Forfeiture Nationwide, Allow Victims to Be Reimbursed

For decades now, federal government and their cohorts in law enforcement have been carrying out theft of the citizenry on a massive scale. We’re not talking about taxes, but an insidious power known as Civil Asset Forfeiture (CAF).
The 1980’s-era laws were designed to drain resources from powerful criminal organizations, but CAF has become a tool for law enforcement agencies across the U.S. to steal money and property from countless innocent people.
No criminal charge is required for this confiscation, resulting in easy inflows of cash for law enforcement departments and the proliferation of abuse. This phenomenon is known as “policing for profit.” ....

Assange Will Rot in Prison, Snowden in Exile, Because Trump Is Too Busy Pardoning Criminals

Assange Will Rot in Prison, Snowden in Exile, Because Trump Is Too Busy Pardoning Criminals
Published: December 17, 2020
The United States has a heinous record when it comes to committing war crimes. Even more heinous, however, is the fact that commander in chief after commander in chief continue to pardon those convicted of these unspeakable acts. As whistleblowers like Julian Assange and Edward Snowden rot in prison or exile, military personnel who’ve slaughtered civilians are receiving pardon after pardon. President Donald Trump has continued to walk down this shameful road by pardoning war criminals.
Since taking office on January 20, 2017, Donald Trump has granted executive clemency to 45 individuals charged or convicted of federal criminal offenses. From low level fraudsters to media moguls to racketeers, Trump has used his executive power to overturn the convictions of dozens of criminals. Most notable, however are his pardons for war criminals, while whistleb ....
