International Motors set to take over Mitsubishi UK aftersales business

Date: 17 May 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood International Motors is in advanced discussions to take over the Mitsubishi Motors UK aftersales business.  The deal is due to take effect in the autumn, pending the completion of a successful due diligence process, and follows the announcement of Mitsubishi s plans to exit the UK new vehicle market. International Motors, which is currently the official UK importer for Subaru and Isuzu, says it has a parts distribution business and IT infrastructure into which the Mitsubishi aftersales operation could be integrated with relative ease. Andrew Edmiston, managing director of International Motors s parent company IM Group, said: We are widely recognised for our award-winning customer service and we are confident that we will be able to offer the high quality of service Mitsubishi customers are accustomed to.
