(Photos provided) On Tuesday, Dec. 15, an official recount will take place for the race between Midland City Council Ward 1 candidates, incumbent Pam Hall and Jeremy Rodgers. In the Nov. 3 election, Rodgers lost to Hall by 11 votes and has since initiated a hand recount. Election results for the Ward 1 candidates were 1,362 votes for Hall and 1,351 votes for Rodgers, which he explained is less than a 1% margin. The physical recount will take place at 1 p.m. at the Homer Safety Building, 222 Homer Road, and is expected to take about three hours. It is open to the public to attend; however, Midland County Clerk Ann Manary explained they will have to limit the number of people due to safety reasons amid the pandemic. ....
