BEMIDJI After a year of drive-by, drive-thru, and un parades, Bemidjians came out in full force on Sunday to enjoy the first full-blown parade in town since 2019.

The Bemidji Jaycees’ 77th Annual Water Carnival is shaping up to be a lively kickoff to summertime. Starting Thursday, July 1, and going through Monday, July 5, the event is expected to resemble the carnivals from years past that the Bemidji community has come to love, said Water Carnival co-chairman Eva Fisher.
