The Youth Foundation, a nonprofit that had served Eagle County for nearly 20 years, rebranded itself as YouthPower365.
Eagle Valley High School students assisted Colorado Parks and Wildlife to collect data about wildlife use of local trails.
Two big events were planned at the Eagle River Center the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Big Game Banquet and the Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed.

In a split vote the Eagle Town Board banned medial marijuana dispensaries and gave the town’s sole existing operation, Sweet Leaf Pioneer, until Nov. 1 to close its doors. Business owner Dave Manzanares said he would take the issue to the voters.

Karl Shilhanek has learned that lesson as he embarks on a food truck expansion project. Shilhanek, who runs Kebab Casual food truck 2604 Meridian St., is planning to open a second food truck operation sometime in March. That truck will be called Carve Casual, serving rotisserie chicken, sandwiches with house-roasted meat, poutine, soups and salads.

Peacefully in the loving care of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Deeply regretted by his nieces and nephews the Lalor and Tynan familys, cousins Fr. Eddie, P.J. and Eileen Lalor, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family funeral will take place with Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Saturday in St. Fintan s Church, Raheen and will be live streamed on https://www.facebook.com/paddy.byrne.77377. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
