In an emotional message delivered Sunday, Pastor Ed Young and his wife, Lisa, revealed the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding the death of their 34-year-old daughter, LeeBeth, and reflected on God s continued faithfulness amid their grief.
On February 14, Ed and Lisa Young spoke publicly from the pulpit of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, for the first time since announcing their firstborn daughter passed away on January 19.
“I would say in these 30 plus years of ministry and leading at Fellowship Church, we probably have never been as weak and as vulnerable as we are right now,” Lisa said. “We ve experienced difficulty and we ve walked through pain, but not like this, and only by God s grace are we doing it.” ....

Founding pastor of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, Ed Young, is mourning the death of his firstborn child, daughter LeeBeth Young. She was 34.
The megachurch pastor, who did not share how his daughter died, said in a statement on social media Tuesday that she is “now healed and whole” in God’s presence after passing on Monday night.
“It is with great sadness that I write these words. Last night, our precious and cherished daughter LeeBeth passed away. She was our firstborn, and we celebrate her life,” Young said.
“LeeBeth was a bright, intelligent, strong, creative, witty, and faithful young woman. We love our daughter, and she loved the Lord. Because of her relationship with Jesus, she is now healed and whole in His presence. We ask that you pray for our family, our church, and so many others who loved LeeBeth deeply,” he added. ....

Pastor Ed Young, the founder and senior pastor of the Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, announced on Tuesday that his firstborn daughter LeeBeth Young suddenly passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18.
LeeBeth also served as a preacher at the Dallas church.
In a statement shared via social media, Pastor Young said LeeBeth, 34, died Sunday night.
It is with great sadness that I write these words. Last night, our precious and cherished daughter LeeBeth passed away, Young said. She was our firstborn, and we celebrate her life. Celebrity pastor and founder of the Fellowship Church, Ed Young, has announced the tragic death of his daughter, LeeBeth Young.
The preacher and author took to Twitter to confirm the sad news that his firstborn daughter had passed away.
He posted a photo of LeeBeth along with a short statement in tribute. He wrote: “Last night, our precious and cherished daughter LeeBeth passed away.”

Pastor Ed Young of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, fulfilled a 50-year dream last week when he caught a great white shark weighing nearly 2,000 pounds.
“During Christmas break, I fulfilled a 50-year dream,” Young wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday, referring to an 11-foot great white shark a few miles off the coast of Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
“I caught a Great White Shark on rod and reel off of the South Carolina coast with (Chip Michalove, the owner of) Outcast Sport Fishing who is the only captain who has a federal permit to target, tag and handle Great Whites.” ....
