So, at the end of the month, theyâre asking residents to drop them off on Ransom Street in Holland. âItâs a one-day event. I know it can be a little hassle to pick them up. But we donât require them off rim, which is a big deal for our program,â said Lexie Kasper, administrative specialist with the district. âItâs only a dollar a tire to drop off. If you do find opportunities to recycle tires, typically the cost is higher than that. So, I think we just offer a really great, cheap, easy, quick solution for people.â ....

(WKZO AM/FM) – Tuesday, U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich), Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, announced a new $3,429,770 investment to improve water quality and fishing habitats in Ottawa County. Senator Stabenow says the funding will be matched by private investments, and that this partnership is one of three projects in Michigan with similar investments. Senator Stabenow said that this partnership was made possible by the Farm Bill’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program, authored by Stabenow. ....
