A new addition to writings on Hamd-o-Naat

The book titled Mutaleaat-e-Hamd-o-Naat written by Naseem-e-Sahar is a collection of articles on Hamd-o-Naat writing poets. These articles, elaborating the topic of Hamd-o-Naat, its nature and development in Urdu, open up new perspectives for those who want to study and research poetry and its different genres.
Hamd-o-Naat are two rich genres of poetry in which a poet praises Allah Almighty and Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) respectively. According to the author, the poets who compose Naat try to express their love and admiration for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Fight against Covid-19: Pakistan donates medicines to Afghanistan

LANDIKOTAL: The Pakistani authorities donated seven containers of Covid-19 relief medicines to Afghanistan on Tuesday.
A ceremony was held at Zero Point at Torkham border to hand over the medicines to the Afghan authorities.
Commandant Khyber Rifles Col Rizwan, Chief Collector Customs (North) Asif Mahmood Jah, Afghan trade attaché’ in Peshawar Fawad Arsh, Khyber Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry members, customs standing committee convener Ziaullah Sarhadi, Federal Board of Revenue officials and others attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Asif Mahmood Jah said Afghanistan had suffered due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that Covid-19 had also dealt a blow to the economy of Afghanistan. ....

Pakistan customs is gearing up for more achievements in future: Chairman FBR
Islamabad, January 26, 2021 (PPI-OT): To mark the International Customs Day on 26th January, a small ceremony was held in Model Customs Collectorate, Islamabad in view of precautionary measures of Covid-19. Chairman FBR Muhammad Javed Ghani graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The other participants included Syed Hamid Ali, Member (Customs-Policy), Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah (Chief Collector, North) and other officers / officials of Pakistan Customs Service.
