All 3,500 appointments to be vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana were taken within 17 minutes of opening Monday morning (Feb. 1). The first coronavirus vaccination supersite in San Bernardino County, clinic workers in Fontana plan to vaccinate 3,500 people in their cars today (Tuesday, Feb. 2). Everyone who signed up was able to schedule a follow-up appointment for the second dose at the same location March 2. Additionally, appointments for 200 appointments per day at the Ontario Convention Center for Thursday (Feb. 4), and Friday, (Feb. 5), are taken; those became available Friday evening. To date, no county vaccination clinics have been announced for our Morongo Basin.
