Success at Second Rougemont Gas WellBrisbane, June 7, 2021 AEST (ABN Newswire) - State Gas Limited ( ASX:GAS) is pleased to announce that its second Rolleston-West well, Rougemont-2, has intersected gas-bearing Bandanna coal measures very similar to the coals identified during drilling last month at its Rougemont-1 well in Central Queensland. The strong correlation of the results of Rougemont-1 and 2 validate the Company s hypothesis that the extensive Bandanna Formation within the Rolleston-West Gas Project (ATP 2062) hosts significant volumes of gas. The Rougemont-2 well, approximately 2.7km north west of Rougemont-1, was spudded on 29 May and reached total target depth of 540 metres at 8.00am on 5 June 2021. As at the Rougemont-1 well, core samples have been taken from the well, the well geology has been logged, and further testing is currently underway. ....

The well, which was spudded on 29 May 2021, is at 324m depth, just above the top of the Bandanna Formation coal measures. Coring will commence later this week following insertion of steel casing. Early Success at First Rougemont Gas WellBrisbane, May 24, 2021 AEST (ABN Newswire) - State Gas Limited ( ASX:GAS) is pleased to announce that its first well in its new Rolleston-West Gas Project (ATP 2062) in Central Queensland has confirmed the existence of gas-bearing coal seams in the Bandanna coal measures within the Project area. This strengthens the Company s view that these coals will be developed synergistically with the Reid s Dome gas discoveries. The Rougemont-1 well, spudded on 14 May, reached total target depth of 800 metres at 12.00pm on 23 May 2021. Core samples have been taken from the well, with 100% recovery.
