LAHORE: PML-N Punjab spokesperson Azma Bukhari has said that pre-budget session was necessary but the government had not called this session.
“This time no suggestions are being taken from the members on the upcoming budget,” she claimed. She said that PML-N fought the election in NA-249 against the federal and provincial governments; thanks to Almighty Allah that PPP’s true face was revealed much earlier as it did not come out less than PTI.
She expressed these views while talking to media persons outside Punjab Assembly here Tuesday. General Secretary Punjab Owais Leghari, Taufeeq Butt and Hasina Begum were also present. Azma Bukhari said that no standing committees had been formed in the Punjab Assembly for two and a half years due to which more than 40 bills were awaiting approval. She said the court ordered to sell sugar at Rs80/kg but now women were being humiliated in long lines with a subsidy of Rs20. ....

In a statement on Monday, she said because of bureaucracy, governments deliver and increase their stature. “Shahbaz Sharif made Punjab a developed province because of these bureaucrats. LAHORE: PML-N Punjab Information Secretary Azma Bukhari has said that doctors, nurses and paramedics as well as media workers are also victims of corona but the government is ignoring them.
In her statement issued on Sunday, Azma Bukhari said that along with the medical staff, media workers were also performing their services on the frontline. “Media workers are fulfilling their responsibilities day and night by putting their lives in danger like doctors, nurses and paramedics,” she said, demanding the government provide free vaccine to the media workers.
She said a large number of media workers had already been affected by corona, but, unfortunately, the government was constantly ignoring them. She said that how could a media worker earning Rs30, 000 per month buy a dose of Rs12,000. She said the media workers should be vaccinated against corona free-of-cost. She said that many journalists had died from corona but the government did not provide any rel ....

LAHORE:A PML-N MPA tabled a resolution in Punjab Assembly regarding the dilapidated condition of Metro buses.
PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt submitted the resolution in the assembly secretariat here Friday. She in the resolution pointed out that the condition of the buses was deteriorated and has become pitiable.
“The ACs and windows of several metro buses have been broken and out of order,” she said in the resolution. She said that the Punjab government has not been able to implement the agreement to run new buses on the metro track and despite the tender the company could not bring new buses on track. Hina Pervaiz Butt, in the resolution, demanded that the agreement to bring new buses on track be implemented because it would have been difficult for the citizens to travel in metro buses without AC in the scorching heat. ....
