Tulsa Firefighters Install Smoke Alarms After 5th Fire Death This Year Tulsa Firefighters went door-to-door near 31st Street and 129th Avenue Tuesday, to make sure people had working smoke alarms.  This is after a woman died from a fire in her home in that neighborhood last week. The Tulsa Fire Department said they aren t sure if this woman had a working smoke alarm. They said this was their fifth fatal fire this year, and they want it to be the last.  It s good that they re coming out because I didn t have none in my room at all, it s a big help to be honest, Aeja Cunningham said.
