GTP Hosts Miss Uni International

The board of Miss Uni International has paid a working visit to the factory of textile giants, GTP in Tema.
The visit forms part of Miss Uni International s quest to drive development through culture and tourism.
It was also aimed at promoting made in Ghana goods.
Project Manager, Miss Uni International, Oheneba Akosua Kyerewah said in an interview We took the ladies to one of the biggest and long lasting factories that produces fabrics made in Ghana to make the ladies appreciate effort that goes into making a piece of cloth.

All Set For Miss Agriculture Ghana 2021

Application for the 2021 Miss Agriculture Ghana Project Pageant has opened.
The Chamber of Women in Agribusiness Ghana founder, Ama Bonsu stated in an interview that, All is set for the pageant, which is the fourth edition. We are expecting a top notch performance from the contestants. We want to change the narrative of agriculture in the country.
Interested persons wanting to participate must be a young Lady between ages 18-30, should have passion for Agribusiness, have any project along the Agriculture Value chain that can create more jobs for other young women.

Software Engineer Andrea Meza Of Mexico Crowned Miss Universe

Andrea Meza of Mexico has been crowned Miss Universe. Meza, who has a software engineering degree, beat out Miss Brazil at the end of the night, screaming Sunday when the announcer shouted “Viva Mexico!”
Previous winner Zozibini Tunzi fit the crown on Meza s head and waited to make sure it would stay in place as Meza beamed and took her first walk to the front of the stage.
Tunzi, a public relations professional who became the first Black woman from South Africa to win the contest, had held the title since December 2019. Last year s ceremony was canceled due to the pandemic. ....

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) Kate Schneider from Ireland has been named the new Mrs. World after the reigning titleholder resigned following an on-stage fracas in which she pulled the crown off the head of the winner of the Mrs. Sri Lanka beauty pageant, organizers said.
