Appointments and walk-in visits remain available 5-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays until then, when the focus shifts to physicians offices and walk in clinics.

Mass COVID vaccination site to open next week in Sanford, Maine

SANFORD, Maine – Opening day for the new mass COVID vaccination clinic at the former Marshalls store at 1364 Main Street in Sanford will be Tuesday, March 2.
Southern Maine Health Care spokesperson Allison Kenty said the 29,000-square-foot site will have the capacity to vaccinate up to 1,000 people a day, thanks to the partnership among SMHC parent organization MaineHealth, the York County Emergency Management Agency and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
This clinic will make a big difference in our efforts to vaccinate our community, Kenty said Tuesday.
Following March 2, the clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. every day but Tuesdays. ....
