29 Dec 2020 - 8:36 By Sidi Mohamed | The Peninsula Doha: Seven million transactions have been completed so far this year through the Ministry of Interior (MoI) s e-service app Metrash2. “The Ministry of Interior’s annual completed transactions have not been affected much by the coronavirus pandemic. This is due to the availability of most of the services on the Metrash 2 app,” said Brigadier Abdul Rahman Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, Assistant Director-General of Information Systems at the MoI. Speaking to Qatar Radio yesterday, Al Malki said, “During the peak of the pandemic, we operated distinctly. We continued to provide our services to everyone through Metrash 2. Despite closing all service centres to prevent physical contact, we continued to provide services to clients.” ....
