Internal Affairs probe of charities linked to Auckland schools turns into police investigation

An Internal Affairs spokeswoman said the Government department has referred the allegations to the police.
“The Department may continue its inquiries at the completion of Police involvement in the matter.”
She said Internal Affairs would not comment further while the allegations were being looked into by police.
