Laughing Putin says if he wanted Alexei Navalny dead 'it would have been done'

Vladimir Putin laughed off reports the Kremlin was involved in poisoning opposition leader Alexei Navalny, saying if he wanted him dead  it would have been done .
Speaking via video call during an annual marathon news conference today, the Russian leader accused US intelligence agencies of stoking the claims.
His comments came days after German sources claimed Russia tried to assassinate Navalny with Novichok nerve agent a second time after he survived the first attack in August.
If there was such a desire, it would have been done, Putin said of Navalny s alleged poisoning with a chuckle.
