Grammy-winning Mariachi Ensemble to Perform for Weber State Community

OGDEN, Utah – Flor de Toloache, the critically-acclaimed all-female mariachi group, will perform their signature blend of progressive and traditional mariachi music at a virtual concert hosted by Weber State University’s Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities on Friday, February 5, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets to the virtual event are free to the public and can be reserved at weber.edu/artscalendar. The event will also be streamed to the Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities Facebook page. Expected to last 45 minutes, the bilingual performance is the feature event of the
Browning Presents! series for Spring of 2021.

The New Year brings some new music to the World Music Show. However, technically, these songs are leftovers from last year but they’re new to me and they’re getting their airing for the first time on the show, so I’m sticking with that explanation.

The professional repertory theater ensemble based out of the Oakes Center in Summit is in the process of finalizing its new online season, starting with “In With the New,” an online fundraiser gala scheduled for live streaming 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10.
The live event will feature performances and an interactive trivia game.
Admission to the gala is $100, which includes a souvenir stemless wine glass filled with cookies delivered to each attendee’s home. (Additional glasses can be ordered for $10.) ....

Coldsnap Music Festival moving to live stream format

The Prince George Folkfest Society is modifying the 2021 version of the Coldsnap Music Festival.
A plan is being formulated to present a live-to-live stream event on their web site.
Performances are taking place in Prince George from January 29th to February 6th with two artists playing each night.
The Coldsnap for Kids concert is scheduled for January 31st at 1 pm.
