A Buford man was arrested Thursday evening by Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and is facing cruelty to children charges after he reportedly injured his infant son.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that 34-year-old Bryan Oswaldo Morales caused fractures to both of the baby’s legs.
The release states the incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Morales’ home in the 5,000 block of Magnolia Way in Buford.
Investigators believe Morales was home alone with the baby on Wednesday. When the baby’s mother returned home Wednesday evening, she took the baby to the emergency room after seeing him in distress, according to the release.
Middle River Man, 22, Killed in Edgewood Shooting

Detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after an adult male was shot in Edgewood.
On Tuesday, December 15, at approximately 6:07 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 1400 block of Hanson Road for the report of an individual discovered with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male, identified as Denzel Shabazz Jones, 22, of Middle River, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
Man Injured in Havre de Grace Shooting

Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating, and a man is recovering, after a shooting in Havre de Grace late Friday night.
At approximately 11:49 p.m. on December 11, 2020, deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4100 block of Gravel Hill Road in Havre de Grace for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located Paul Hartman, Jr., 31, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Deputies immediately began rendering first aid until the arrival of medics. He was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment of what are believed to be a non-life threatening injuries. The victim has already contacted a personal injury law firm to handle the legal process of this case.
