Kukatpally robbery case, two arrested for killing security guard

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police has cracked the sensational Kukatpally HDFC ATM robbery case. The Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said that they had cracked the case within a short span of time. He said that they had arrested two accused -Ajith Kumar and Mukesh Kumar- in the Case.
He said that the accused had shot at the security guards of the ATM And decamped with Rs.5 lakh cash.
He said that the accused belonged to Bihar State and added that they had recovered Rs.6.31 lakh cash, two mobile phones , two wheelers and one weapon from the possession of the accused. He said that the two were also the accused in a similar theft incident that took place at Jeedimetla. He said that the accused were indulging such crimes after becoming addicted to liquor and financial problems.
GILGIT: The Gilgit-Baltistan Election Tribunal on Saturday admitted for hearing petitions seeking to declare null and void the election of five ruling PTI members, including the chief minister and a technocrat, over use of corrupt practices and illegal means during the polls.
The Election Tribunal Judge Ali Baig set May 21 for regular hearing of the petitions.
The petitions have been filed against Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan, law minister Sohail Abbas, health minister Gulber Khan, local bodies minister Abdul Hameed Khan and technocrat Fazal Rahim, according to a press release issued by the Chief Court on Saturday.
The petitioners alleged that the respondents used illegal means to win the polls in their respective constituencies, which was a violation of the Election Act, 2017.
Bank guard killed as robbers open fire at ATM in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 29 : A bank employee was killed, and another injured in when armed robbers opened fire at an ATM in Kukatpally area in Hyderabad on Thursday, police said.
Security guard Ali Baig, an ex-serviceman, was killed and the other bank employee, Srinivas was injured in the incident.
The attackers escaped with Rs 5 lakh cash. The daylight robbery and firing sent panic in the busy area.
The armed robbers came on a two-wheeler and attacked two bank employees refilling money in the ATM. One of the assailants opened fire, injuring Ali. The security guard, who received a bullet injury in the stomach, succumbed at a hospital.

GILGIT: The Gilgit-Baltistan government on Monday assured the region’s Chief Court of the early filling of the judges’ vacant posts in the local courts.
The secretary GB Council, the chief secretary, and secretaries of law and home appeared before a two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Malik Haq Nawaz and Ali Baig, and assured it that vacant posts would be filled soon in consultation with the chief judge.
After the assurance, the bench asked the respondents to appear before it on June 10 to report on whether all the vacant posts of judges had been filled.
