The programs were approved by the APU Board of Trustees in December and received accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education in April. Practical nursing (undergraduate certificate): This program meets a statewide demand for nurses by preparing students to earn a license of practical nursing, or LPN.
