Charlie McDonagh was struck by a car while out in Ardnacassa, Co Longford, at around 2pm and was pronounced dead at the scene. 3 3 3 The boy lost his life in the Ardnacassa area of Longford The boy’s remains were removed to Mullingar Hospital where a post-mortem will take place later. Emergency services remained at the scene as gardai preserved the area for an examination.Nobody else was injured in the collision. Family and friends told of their shock at the tragedy. ....
