Government Initiative April 25 – May 1, 2021 Lt Governor Manoj Sinha meeting with Film producer, Shiv Sagar, and actor Sunil Lahri The government last week launched the “Awaam ki Awaaz” programme, which went On-Air today on all channels of All India Radio (AIR) J&K. The telecast of the programme was also broadcast on DD Kashmir. The programme is aimed at seeking feedback from the public and giving them a platform to share their suggestions and views, thus making the process of governance more participatory. The first episode of the Awaam ki Awaaz programme received a huge response from across the UT with people in big numbers tuned to their radio and television sets to witness the paradigm shift in the overall governance process of which “Jan Bhagidari” is the central theme. Apr 23, 2021 Principal Secretary said that under a joint venture between administration of Jammu and Kashmir and Tata Technologies (PPP mode) an investment of Rs. 361 crore has been made in JKUT to train the students in robotics, electric vehicle manufacture, industry professionals and promoting entrepreneurship. It was informed in the meeting that Centres for Invention, Innovation, Incubation, and Training (CIIIT) have been established at Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk, at a cost of Rs 181.56 crore and at Government Polytechnic College, Baramulla at the cost of Rs 181.57 crore. The measures are coming at a time when the dynamics of industry requirements are changing rapidly due to continuous advancements being made in today’s global technological era’, he added. ....

Cannot a few of such elected representatives allow, encourage , promote and vouch for total transparency and fair dealing in matters of engaging people for livelihood and providing jobs and instead get their blue eyed and favourite ones engaged on their recommendations ? If it was not going on unabated right from the year 2010 to 2018 in the Government Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Jammu and Kashmir, why spate of complaints of fraudulent and illegal practices in appointments etc were received from the public by the then State Governor in the year 2019 pertaining to not only the ITIs, Polytechnic institutes but in respect of different departments , Auto ....
No rules to utilize funds kept at disposal of Principals Mohinder Verma JAMMU, Apr 11: A Fact Finding Committee has detected engagement of hundreds of need-based workers mainly on the recommendations of the politicians in the Government Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Jammu and Kashmir during the period between 2010 and 2018 and made suggestions to the Government for necessary action. Official sources told EXCELSIOR that in early 2019 a number of complaints came to the notice of the then Governor of erstwhile State regarding fraudulent and illegal appointments made during the period between 2010 and 2018 in different departments particularly Technical Education and Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Organizations under its administrative control. ....
