A CHATHAM man has been detained after a suspicious package was sent to the covid vaccine factory in Wrexham Roads around Wrexham Industrial Estate were closed off for several hours on January 27 after a suspicious package was sent to the factory and an investigation was launched. Global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company Wockhardt, which provides fill-and-finish for Covid-19 vaccines, said the company s site in Wrexham had been partially evacuated. PA news agency confirmed that production at the vaccine site had been stopped but had been restarted several hours later. A spokeswoman insisted the production schedule was not affected.
