PatnaDaily 14-year old Aman Raj, son of Shashi Raj Sinha and Madhulika Sinha of Patna, was declared the Golfer of the Year by the Patna Golf Club for the year 2009-2010. Playing 1 over the course (71) in the 37th Annual Patna Golf Championship, Aman grabbed the PKJ Menon Cup in a field of over 120 golfers from Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Delhi. Aman currently ranks 6th in the nation in below-15 junior category. With a series of accolades already in his bag at the tender age of 14, Aman recently became the runners up in the All India Juniors Golf Championship held between Dec. 29, 2009 and Jan. 1, 2010 at Poona Golf Club in Pune.

Actress Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became proud parents to daughter Vamika on January 11. The Telegraph Online speaks to Kolkata boy and strength and conditioning coach, Imran Sarfaraz, who has been training her even before she was mom-to-be. What was Anushka’s workout regime during pregnancy?  During pregnancy, one is already low on energy, so the exercises depended on how Anushka was feeling during a particular training session. I would begin by talking to her to understand how she was feeling. ‘Okay Anushka, you’re feeling like a 4/10 today so let’s not do too many movements’ or, ‘Okay, Anushka, if you’re feeling sluggish, go for a swim or a walk.’ Because she’s into fitness and does yoga, she’s aware of her body and how she’s feeling, and that feedback really helped me to modulate the exercises.

As many as 35 vintage and classic cars were on display in Kolkata, courtesy ‘The Goodbye 2020 Brunch Meet’ organised by the Eastern India Motoring Group. The event was held on the last Sunday of this year in the Town Hall area of the city.
