Mother accused of shooting, killing two children in Ambridge home AMBRIDGE A Beaver County mother is accused of killing her two children at a Maplewood Avenue home Monday afternoon. Krisinda Bright, 48, of Ambridge, is charged with two counts of criminal homicide after investigators say she shot and killed Jeffery Bright, 16, and Jasmine Cannady, 22, at a residence the three shared. The 16-year-old victim was a transgender Ambridge Area High School student, according to friends and county officials. Both victims died of gunshot wounds to the head.
