As Congress gets ready for their August recess, there’s an all-out effort being made to pass the so-called infrastructure legislation before the break.  This is a budget resolution that hasn’t been fully drafted and legislators are being asked to vote on it.  It’s a bill that Senator Lindsey Graham called a “power grab” and also believes it will “…lead to the breakdown of law and order beyond what you see today.”  Others warn that it will absorb suburbs into cities. ....

S1 – Federal Takeover of Elections


As we go about our daily lives – going to work, earning a living, building our families, etc. – there is an attempt being made for a federal takeover of our elections and to do away with voting safeguards and turn our elections into the wild, wild west. If you thought last November was bad,

HR1 was a bill of 791 pages. It passed the House on a vote of 220-210. Every Republican voted in opposition to this legislation. All Democrats with the exception of one, Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, voted in favor of it. Now in the Senate, the bill is known as S1. It’s a whopping bill of 817 pages, 26 pages longer than it was in the House.
