.- One of the great masterpieces of European art, The Spinners by Velázquez, is presented with a new frame that hides the later 18th century additions to the canvas from view and allows the visitor to contemplate the composition as conceived by Velazquez.
The work is integrated into an innovative installation specially designed for the masterpiece and incorporates new technical features for conservation.
The recovery of Velazquezs composition marks the first action of the Reframing the Prado project which aims to develop new solutions and adequate framing features for the best presentation of the Prados collection. ....

Keen on licensing ARPO to Amex, Trappit met company reps in 2014 after emailing them a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Amex wanted the NDA governed by English law while Spain-based Trappit wanted it governed by Spain’s courts. The document they eventually signed included this clause:
14. Assignment. Neither party may assign or otherwise transfer this Agreement, or any of its rights and obligations hereunder, to any third party without the consent of the other party.

Law360, London (May 19, 2021, 5:24 PM BST) A London judge ruled Wednesday that a Spanish technology startup s lawsuit accusing American Express of infringing its copyright for a plane ticket algorithm can continue in England, largely rejecting the credit card giant s jurisdiction challenge.
High Court Judge Richard Snowden ruled on whether a non-disclosure agreement signed by Trappit SA and American Express Europe LLC gave the Madrid courts exclusive jurisdiction to hear claims about alleged misuse of information.
Judge Snowden brought an end to proceedings between Trappit SA and American Express Europe. But he said that Trappit Tecnologias which was assigned the rights to the technology in 2015 . ....

Law360, London (May 19, 2021, 5:24 PM BST) American Express escaped a copyright infringement case in London when a judge ruled on Wednesday that a non-disclosure agreement signed with a technology startup stipulated that any disputes over a plane ticket algorithm should be heard in Spain.
The Madrid courts have exclusive jurisdiction to hear claims brought by Trappit SA against American Express Europe LLC that arise from the misuse of information contained in a 2014 agreement, High Court Judge Richard Snowden said.
The judge dismissed the English proceedings after taking into account the Brussels 1 Recast Regulation, which is focused on jurisdiction and enforcement of civil judgments across the. ....
