The Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team in East London, in conjunction with Mdantsane Crime Intelligence (CI), executed an operation in response to information received regarding suspects alleged to be selling dagga to members of the community from their residence, situated in Chislehurst Cambridge area in East London. The resultant search was conducted in their residence on 21 May 2021 where 1kg of dagga was found already for selling purposes. This follows three alleged purchases of dagga that were successfully made by the two suspects at their residence between 16 April 2021 and 21 May 2021. ....
